Armed Forces Community Advisory Council (AFCAC)

The Armed Forces Community Advisory Council (AFCAC) mission is to provide a structured forum where service members, veterans, and military families can share their perspectives with the Colorado District 5 Congressional Representative, Senators, and local politicians—ensuring the voices of our military community are represented in legislative discussions.

 

Participation Guidelines

All involvement will:

  • Adhere to DoD 5500.07-R, Joint Ethics Regulation

  • Neither imply nor serve as a military endorsement of the AFCAC

  • Occur outside duty hours

  • Not be in uniform for military participants

Call for Volunteers

We are seeking volunteers to serve on the inaugural Council.

We respectfully request your assistance in one of two ways:

  • Notifying service members and families on your installation about this volunteer opportunity

  • Facilitating introductions to installation leadership (officers and NCOs) who can help identify strong candidates

 

Your support will help ensure the Council reflects the diversity and experience of El Paso County's Armed Forces community.
